Sponsorship terms

You're buying from me, Gergő Iván, a sole proprietor registered in Hungary. In these terms, “I” and “me” means me, and “you” means the business buying a spot.

Spots are sold to businesses only: companies, startups, sole traders, freelancers and creators buying for their business. By buying, you confirm that you're acting for your business, trade or profession. Because this isn't a consumer purchase, the EU's 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers doesn't apply.

I don't accept sponsors from these categories:

• Crypto: cryptocurrencies, tokens, NFTs, exchanges and related services
• Adult content and services
• Gambling and betting

I also can't accept a sponsor or logo that's unlawful or misleading, or that uses someone else's trademark or other rights without permission. If a purchase turns out to break this section, I cancel the sponsorship and refund the full amount.

Each spot includes:

• Your logo physically placed on my MacBook
• Placement throughout Valencia Digital Summit
• An individual sponsor introduction on my social media
• Inclusion in the campaign content
• Your logo on this site's sponsor wall
• A link to your company website
• Exclusive ownership of your position

Your spot's number, position and price are the ones shown on the board when you buy. The MacBook on this site is an illustration: your physical sticker goes in the same position on the real lid, sized to fit it.

Your logo stays on the MacBook at least until the end of Valencia Digital Summit 2026.

You're paying for a physical spot on the MacBook and a place in the campaign content. I don't guarantee impressions, views, reach, clicks, leads, sales or any other result.

The content series is mine to make: I decide its format, platforms and timing, and they may change as the campaign goes. You still get your individual sponsor introduction.

• Prices are in euros, shown on each spot, and paid once.
• No VAT is added. I'm a VAT-exempt small business (alanyi adómentes) under the Hungarian VAT Act. If you're a VAT-registered business in another EU country, the reverse-charge rules may apply, and you account for any VAT in your own country.
• You pay by card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) on Stripe's secure checkout page. I never see your full card details.
• I send you an electronic invoice to the billing details you enter at checkout.

1. Click an open spot on the board. Stripe's checkout opens.
2. Check the spot and the price, enter your billing details, tick the box to accept these terms, and pay.
3. The contract is concluded when your payment succeeds. You land on a confirmation page right away, and Stripe emails you a receipt.
4. Right after paying, send me your logo and details (the page after checkout shows how). I review them, and your logo appears on this site's board once I've approved it.

You can correct your billing details at checkout before you pay, and your logo and company details any time after that.

The contract is in English. I don't file it as a separate document: these terms stay on this page, and your receipt and invoice record your purchase. I haven't signed up to any code of conduct.

Your logo needs a transparent background, because it goes straight onto the dark Midnight lid, and it should be readable there (a white or light version works best).

You're responsible for what you send me: your logo, company name, website, social profile, description and note. You confirm that you have the right to use them, and that they don't break the law or anyone else's rights.

You allow me to print your logo as a sticker, show it on this site, and use it, together with your company name and the details you send for your introduction, in the campaign content and my posts about the project. This permission is free of charge and non-exclusive, and it covers the campaign and the content I publish about it. Posts that are already published can stay online.

If your logo or details don't meet these terms, I'll ask you for a different version. If we can't sort it out, I cancel the sponsorship and refund the full amount.

Printed colours can differ slightly from what you see on screen.

Payments are final. Once you've paid, you can't cancel your sponsorship or get a refund, except in these cases, where you get 100% of what you paid back:

• Valencia Digital Summit 2026 is cancelled or postponed;
• I can't attend it with the MacBook, for any reason;
• I cancel your sponsorship under who can buy a spot or your logo and details.

Refunds go back to the payment method you used, without undue delay. In these cases the full refund settles everything between us, and no further compensation is owed.

This is an independent project. It isn't affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Apple Inc. or Valencia Digital Summit. The Main Sponsor sticker covering the Apple-logo area doesn't imply any connection with Apple.

Please don't present your sponsorship as a partnership with Apple or as a sponsorship of Valencia Digital Summit.

My total liability to you under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your spot. This doesn't limit liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, for example for intentional or grossly negligent breach, or for harm to life, physical integrity or health.

I'm not responsible for things outside my control, like decisions by the event organisers, travel disruption or social media outages. If something like that stops the trip, the full refund under cancellations and refunds applies.

I may update these terms for future purchases. Your purchase is covered by the version you accepted at checkout. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

These terms and your purchase are governed by Hungarian law. If we can't resolve a disagreement by talking, the Hungarian court with jurisdiction over my registered address decides. If these terms are ever translated, the English version applies.
